Dragway 42 is recognized as one of the finest drag racing facilities in the country. This will mark the third straight year the West Salem, Ohio track has hosted the IHRA Division 3 Summit Team Finals.
Division 3 (North Stars) tracks are: Quaker City Motorsports Park, Dragway 42, Kuhnle Motorsports Park, Kentucky Dragway, Muncie Dragway, KD Motorsports Park and Pacemakers Outlaw Motorsports Park.
Ricky Roe captured the Top (Box) victory in 2022, while Jeff Kerl edged 2020 IHRA Summit SuperSeries Sportsman World Champion Joe Tharp Jr. for the Mod (No Box) title.
Earl Hall took the Sportsman victory and Logan Vitez doubled up in Junior Dragster by winning both the Race of Champions win and the main event.
US41 Dragstrip is an extremely popular track with racers. It features one of the longest shutdown areas around at 3,500 feet. The Morocco, Indiana track is just east of the Illinois border and only 45 minutes south of Chicago.
Division 5 (Thunder) tracks are: Wisconsin International Raceway, US 41 Dragstrip, Central Illinois Dragway, Bunker Hill Dragstrip, I57 Dragstrip and Great Lakes Dragaway.
IHRA Division 5 (Thunder) Summit Team Finals champions in 2022 were: Michael Churley (Top), Rich Vanells (Mod), Aaron Richards (Sportsman) and Braden Peters (Junior).
